about me
I'm Lynn and I read Law.
This is a brief account of who am I.
Academic wise, I'm currently a first year Law student in Taylor's University, Lakeside Campus in Malaysia. I just returned to my home country after 4 years of being away from it, when I decided to pursue my studies under the ASEAN Scholarship in Singapore while I was 15. You can read more about my education credentials and academic references under the "Education" button above.
If asked around, I am generally described as a bubbly and sociable person. Having been in a different country and the need to interact well with international personnels from more than 10 countries all over the world on a daily basis, it did developed my social skills.
I like to speak. By speaking, I mean expressing my viewpoints to another person. Since 7, I was trained for Public Speaking (which will also thereafter be highlighted under the "Extra Curricular" section) and it continued on while I was in Singapore. To be fair, I am not extremely proficient and I definitely am unable to deliver a speech compatible to the late Mr Martin Luther King or Bill Gates. However, I find it relatively easy and comfortable, after years of training, in the oratorical spectrum. In essence, I can deliver ideas and my points in a very effective manner, verbally. This would be one of the aspects that I am proud to call my strength.
As hobbies, I like to read. Fictions and real life accounts are my top lists. I'm a pretty typical female reader because I like chick flicks with happy endings. To me, the reality does not guarantee a positive outcome all the time; I immerse myself in the fictitious happy ending for a retreat. I also enjoy playing rugby. I used to play for my schools and won many tournaments with my team. It releases stress and it is a great bonding activity that trains one's teamwork and sportsmanship.
In the future, I hope to be who I envision myself to be right now. To achieve that, I live by two mottos:
"Greater than any obstacle"
and
"be kind, be grateful, be fearless"
Cheers!
